Centaur
A level of human development in which behavior is sometimes instinctive and sometimes rational.
In the Foundation's Topics
The realm of the centaurs extends up to the third level of consciousness and is characterized by dual behavior, alternating between animal and human.
At this level, we leave behind the “realm of the centaur”—characterized by the automatic and instinctive reactions of our animal nature—and enter the human realm.
