Reaction

An element of instinct; it is emotional and blocks and damages relationships.

Instinct has certain thresholds; when faced with a situation in which it recognizes that a threshold has been crossed, instinct classifies it as a danger and triggers a fear reaction, sending out a message that takes root in the mind.
