Sin

A mistake; it does not provoke guilt, but learning. In our culture we speak of “original sin” because the personality is born innocent, and the innocent make mistakes; later, innocence turns into ignorance through the information it receives from culture, and then into wisdom when it verifies and understands.

In the Foundation's Topics

We come from a culture in which sexuality has been treated as taboo and sin, as something bad for human beings, as a need of the flesh but not of the spirit.
